Degrees and other qualifications Rupert studied law at the University of Exeter, gaining his LLB in 1999 and went on to take the BVC at the Inns of Court School of Law. Rupert was a pupil at One Garden Court

Personal, including interests Rupert is married with 2 children. He retains strong links with the South West of England and enjoys spending time in Devon and Cornwall with his family as well as in the North Downs in Surrey, near where he currently lives. Rupert is a keen (though largely unsuccessful) golfer and a follower of Essex Cricket Club and of the England and Wales Cricket team. Rupert has dual UK/US citizenship and worked for an attorney in California while a student.
