Philip has a First Class degree in law and a Master of Laws degree. He was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in July 2002 and was awarded the Joseph Jackson Memorial Scholarship and the Caroline Lester Prize. He was also a Middle Temple Benefactors Scholar and awarded the Lloyd Jacob Memorial Exhibition.
