We are pleased to share that Emily Verity has been appointed as a Recorder (South Eastern Circuit).

Joint Heads of Chambers, Andrew Norton KC and Sally Stone KC are “delighted to announce that Emily Verity is to be appointed as a Recorder. We have every confidence that Emily will excel  in this role and warmly congratulate her on this achievement.”

The King has appointed 61 Recorders on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Lammy MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. The appointments will take effect on 11 May 2026.
